Interview Transcription

Q: What inspired you to start rescuing animals?
A: I found an injured puppy outside a gas station 12 years ago. That moment changed everything for me. I couldn’t look away anymore.

Q: What’s the biggest challenge you face?
A: Funding and time. There are more animals than resources, and it breaks my heart to say “not today” when someone calls for help.

Q: Can you share a memorable rescue story?
A: Bruno, a pitbull left in a dumpster. He had scars, trauma, and no trust left. It took weeks, but now he’s a therapy dog in a school for children with special needs.
